Rules & Regulations

Art. 1 – Capacity & Access

Access to Safari Glamping Ventosa is subject to the lodge’s maximum accommodation capacity. Entry may be restricted once full capacity is reached.

Art. 2 – Check-In & Check-Out Procedures

All guest arrivals, departures, and movement of luggage or equipment must take place via reception and in accordance with the official check-in and check-out procedures.

Art. 3 – Guest Verification

All guest entries and exits are monitored and verified at reception for security, safety, and operational purposes.

Art. 4 – Vehicle Circulation & Parking

Vehicles must circulate strictly according to on-site signage. Parking outside designated parking areas is prohibited.

Safari Glamping Ventosa reserves the right to limit vehicle access within the lodge during peak periods (one vehicle per unit). During such times, vehicles may enter only for loading or unloading and must thereafter be parked in designated areas as advised by reception.

Art. 5 – Complaints Book

The official Complaints Book is available at Safari Glamping Ventosa and will be provided to guests upon request, in accordance with Portuguese law.

Art. 6 – Liability

Safari Glamping Ventosa, its management, and staff shall not be held liable for loss, theft, or damage to vehicles, personal belongings, or guest equipment.

Art. 7 – Barbecues & Grills

The use of grills or charcoal barbecues is permitted only in the designated and approved BBQ areas provided by the lodge.

Art. 8 – Fire Safety

8.1 Each accommodation unit is equipped with a fire blanket and a fire extinguisher, which are clearly visible and must be used only in case of emergency.

8.2 Lighting fires outside the designated and approved BBQ areas is strictly prohibited. This includes open flames, fire pits, candles, or any unapproved ignition sources.

8.3 These fire safety measures are strictly enforced to protect guests, property, wildlife, and the surrounding natural environment.

Art. 9 – Registration & Identification

All stays at Safari Glamping Ventosa require prior registration at reception (check-in) upon presentation of a valid official identification document.

Art. 10 – Set-Up Time

All permitted setup activities must be completed by 10:00 pm to respect quiet hours and the comfort of all guests.

Art. 11 – Cancellations & Minimum Charges

In the event of a valid cancellation, a minimum charge may apply as follows:

• May, June, September & October: equivalent to one adult

• July & August: equivalent to two adults, unless the booking is for a single guest

Cancellation terms may vary depending on the booking channel or promotional rate.

Art. 12 – Length of Stay & Check-Out Time

The camping period is calculated from the date of check-in until 11:00 am on the following day.

Late check-out between 11:00 am and 12:00 midday may be granted only with prior approval from reception, subject to availability, and may incur an additional fee.

Check-out after 12:00 midday will incur the charge of one additional night.

Late check-out requests must be made before 10:00 am on the day of departure. Late check-out is not guaranteed, particularly during peak periods.

Art. 13 – Guest Conduct & Quiet Hours

All guests must behave respectfully toward other guests, staff, and the natural surroundings.

A Silence Period applies from 11:00 pm to 8:00 am. During this time, guests must avoid loud conversations, music, shouting, or any disruptive behaviour.

Failure to comply may result in penalties or termination of the stay.

Additional Lodge-Specific Rules

Art. 14 – Children

Children are welcome at Safari Glamping Ventosa. Parents or legal guardians are fully responsible for the supervision, safety, and conduct of children at all times, particularly near water features, pathways, and natural areas.

Art. 15 – Swimming Pool & Water Areas

Use of the swimming pool and any water facilities is entirely at the guest’s own risk.

Children must be supervised at all times. Running, diving, unsafe play, or inappropriate behaviour around pool areas is strictly prohibited.

Art. 16 – Pets

Well-behaved, tamed dogs and cats are welcome at Safari Glamping Ventosa, subject to prior approval from management.

The following conditions apply:

• A maximum of one (1) pet per accommodation

• Pets must weigh no more than 10 kg

• Pets must be kept on a leash at all times when outside the accommodation

• Pets must remain under control and must not disturb other guests or wildlife

• Owners are fully responsible for cleaning up after their pets

• Pets may not relieve themselves near other guests’ accommodation

• Pets are not permitted on furniture, including beds, sofas, cushions, blankets, or towels

• Guests must provide their own pet bed and supplies

Safari Glamping Ventosa reserves the right to refuse or revoke pet access if these rules are not respected. Additional cleaning or damage charges may apply.

Art. 17 – Environmental Responsibility

Safari Glamping Ventosa operates within a natural environment. Guests are required to:

• Respect nature, wildlife, and vegetation

• Dispose of waste in designated refuse and recycling areas

• Avoid unnecessary water and electricity usage

• Refrain from removing plants, stones, wood, or natural elements from the property

Any environmental damage caused by guests may result in penalties or charges.

Art. 18 – Right to Refuse Service

Safari Glamping Ventosa reserves the right to refuse admission or terminate a guest’s stay without refund in cases of serious misconduct, safety risks, property damage, or repeated non-compliance with lodge rules.
